The Haryana government on Thursday decided to increase the bus fare by 15 paise per km and hike the VAT on diesel and petrol prices, drawing the flak of the Congress party for its move to "burden people" during a pandemic. Coronavirus cases in India have crossed 33,000-mark taking positive patients toll to 33,050 including 1,074 deaths and 8,325 recovered, according to health ministry's figures released on Thursday. On Wednesday, confirmed cases in India surged 31,787 while death toll rose to 1,008. Of the total figure, about 7,797 people were either cured or migrated. At least 1,813 new cases and 71 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours till Wendesday. Maharashtra continued to remain on the top with 9,318 cases and 400 deaths. Gujarat coronavirus tally crosses 4000 mark; Ahmedabad reports 234 case अहमदाबाद: गुजरात में कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के 308 नए मामले आने के साथ ही राज्य में अभी तक 4,082 लोगों के संक्रमित होने की पुष्टि हो चुकी है, वहीं 16 और लोगों की मौत होने के साथ ही संक्रमण से मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 197 हो गई है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने बताया कि अहमदाबाद जिले में संक्रमण से नौ लोगों की मौत हुई है। कोविड-19 से शहर में अभी तक 137 लोगों की मौत हुई है।  उन्होंने बताया कि जिले में संक्रमण के 234 नए मामले आने के साथ ही अभी तक 2,777 लोगों के कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित होने की पुष्टि हुई है। वहीं सूरत में कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के 31 नए मामले आने के साथ ही जिले में संक्रमित लोगों की संख्या बढ़कर 601 हो गई है।  स्वास्थ्य विभाग की प्रधान सचिव जयंती रवि ने बताया कि वड़ोदरा में भी 31 नए मामले आने के साथ संक्रमित लोगों की संख्या 270 हो गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि संक्रमण से अहमदाबाद में नौ, वड़ोदरा में तीन, सूरत और राजकोट में एक-एक व्यक्ति की मौत हुई है।  रवि ने बताया कि पिछले 24...

The people have been quarantined at South Delhi's Green Park, officials said. The guest house serves as a facility for patients from Sikkim, referred to Delhi for medical treatment. Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor was admitted to the Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai after complaints of being unwell. The 67-year-old Karz actor's brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed the same to IndiaTV. Rishi Kapoor returned to India in September 2019 after undergoing treatment for cancer in the US for almost a year. Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has been admitted to Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai after complaining that he was not feeling well. The hospitalization was confirmed by Rishi's elder brother and actor Randhir Kapoor who also revealed that his wife Neetu Kapoor is accompanying him. For the unversed, the actor in the year 2018 was diagnosed with cancer for the first time, following which he was in New York for nearly a year to undergo treatment. The Karz actor returned to India in September 2019 after recovering. She was then kept under isolation and was discharged after three negative tests for the virus. Coronavirus Image Source : AP नोएडा, गाजियाबाद, सोनीपत के बाद अब दिल्ली से सटे फरीदाबाद ने भी अपने बॉर्डर सील कर दिए हैं। फरीदाबाद के डिप्टी कमिश्नर यशपाल ने आदेश जारी करते हुए जिले की सभी सीमाओं को सील करने को कहा गया है। खासबात यह है कि डॉक्टरों, पैरामैडिकल स्टाफ, पुलिस कर्मियों और बैंक कर्मियों को भी बुधवार दोपहर 12 बजे तक ही बॉर्डर पार करने की अनुमति होगी। इसके बाद यह बॉर्डर पूरी तरह से सील कर दिया जाएगा।  कमिश्नर ने आदेश जारी करते हुए कहा कि यह पाबंदी 3 मई तक जारी रहेगी। इस सील बंदी के दौरान आवश्यक वस्तुओं की सप्लाई से जुड़े वाहनों और बैंकिंग सेवाए देने वाले वाहनों को प्रवेश पर छूट मिलेगी। इसके अलावा न तो बॉर्डर से किसी को आने दिया जाएगा न हीं जाने दिया जाएगा। इस दौरान सरकारी कर्मचारियों और आम आदमियों का पड़ौसी राज्यों और राज्य के अन्य जिलों में आवाजाही प्रतिबंधित रहेगी। डॉक्टर पुलिस सहित जिन लोगों को छूट दी गई है वह भी आज 12 बजे तक ही लागू रहेगी।  Vehicles engaged in the movement of essential goods & banking services to be exempted.
