Bihar: Patna's IGIMS to be vacated after doctors, nurses, patients test coronavirus positive

IGIMS Hospital in Bihar's Patna has reported four new coronavirus positive cases. Earlier, the doctors and nursing staff of the hospital were also found coronavirus positive, following which the authorities at the centre have now decided to vacant all wards of the hospital. The first coronavirus positive patient at the IGIMS Hospital in Patna was a person who had travelled from Chhapra.

West Bengal Congress President Soumen Mitra passes away in Kolkata Image Source : FILE पश्चिम बंगाल प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष सौमेन मित्रा का बुधवार देर रात निधन हो गया। वे 78 वर्ष के थे। मित्रा पिछले कई दिनों से बीमार चल रहे थे। उन्हें बीमारी के चलते कोलकाता के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। सौमेन मित्रा के परिवार के अनुसार उन्होंने देर रात करीब 1.30 बजे अंतिम सांस ली। सोमेन मित्रा के निधन की खबर पश्चिम बंगाल कांग्रेस ने अपने ट्विटर हैंडल के लिए जरिए साझा की है। कांग्रेस पार्टी ने लिखा- 'WBPCC के अध्यक्ष सोमेन मित्रा ने कुछ समय पहले अंतिम सांस ली है। यह हमारे लिए बड़ी क्षति है, हमारी संवेदनाएं दादा के परिवार के साथ हैं। उनकी आत्मा को शांति मिले।' पश्चिम बंगाल की राजनीति में मजबूत पकड़ रखने वाले मित्रा 7 बार विधायक के रूप में चुनकर पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा पहुंचे ​थे। वे एक बार सांसद के रूप में भी चुनकर आ चुके हैं। डॉक्टर ने बताया था, 'उनकी तबीयत में सुधार है लेकिन किडनी संबंधी रोग के चलते उनके क्रिएटिनिन का स्तर अब भी बढ़ा हुआ है।  West Bengal Congre...

Property owners in Gurugram can lose their water and sewage connections if they fail to clear their property tax dues by October 31, officials of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) said on Wednesday.
